Sony has unveiled the exciting lineup of PlayStation Plus games for the month of July. Subscribers on the Essential, Extra, and Premium tiers will have access to three highly anticipated titles: Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Alan Wake Remastered, and Endling – Extinction is Forever. These games will be available on both the PS5 and PS4 platforms, offering a diverse range of gaming experiences for players.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, released in 2020, is part of the renowned military shooter franchise. Despite its controversial plot based on a conspiracy theory, the game delivers the classic Call of Duty action players have come to expect. With intense shoot-em-up gameplay and settings spanning across Cold War hotspots like East Berlin, Turkey, and Moscow, players can immerse themselves in thrilling multiplayer battles and the popular Zombies mode.
Next on the list is Alan Wake Remastered, a 2021 remake of the original Xbox 360 exclusive title. Players assume the role of the titular character, a successful author who embarks on a nightmarish investigation after his wife mysteriously disappears in the fictional town of Bright Falls, Washington. Blurring the lines between reality and fiction, Alan Wake Remastered offers an atmospheric adventure filled with suspense and mystery. The remastered version includes the base game and the expansions “The Signal” and “The Writer.”
Finally, Endling – Extinction is Forever takes players on a unique third-person survival-adventure as the last surviving fox in a post-apocalyptic world. With Earth depleted of its resources due to human activities, players must guide their three cubs to safety while facing the challenges of a devastated environment. The game offers a blend of stealth gameplay, combining 2D movement with shifting 3D environments. Beyond its entertaining gameplay mechanics, Endling – Extinction is Forever also carries a poignant message about climate change, nature preservation, and human impact on the planet.
PlayStation Plus subscribers will have the opportunity to enjoy these three games from July 4th through the 31st. Additionally, Sony has extended the deadline to claim June’s games, including NBA 2K23, Jurassic World Evolution 2, and Trek to Yomi, until July 3rd. Whether players are looking for high-octane multiplayer battles, thrilling narrative-driven experiences, or thought-provoking survival adventures, the July lineup of PlayStation Plus games offers something for everyone.
