In a recent blog post, Bungie, the renowned game developer behind Destiny 2, has unveiled its decision to raise the price of the stand-alone seasonal pass for the popular sci-fi first-person shooter. The seasonal pass provides players with access to engaging story content and limited-time activities that are introduced every three months. Additionally, the price of the season pass rank bundles will also see an increase, as stated in the announcement.
Beginning with the upcoming seasons, Bungie will be implementing a 20% price increase for the Destiny 2 seasonal pass. This adjustment will result in a change from the previous price of 1,000 Silver to the new cost of 1,200 Silver. Silver is an in-game currency that can be acquired through real-money purchases, and this shift will equate to a monetary increase from $10 to $12 per season.
