Elden Ring and Pokémon Scarlet, two of the year’s largest open-world games, have been Frankensteined into one enticing creature due to the labour of one creative modder.

Arestame, the modder in issue, shared a clip of their effort, which dumps Scarlet assets into the Lands Between. The mod dresses the Tarnished in the far less protective clothes of Pokémon trainers, who ride the treacherous terrain on the motorcycle-like Koraidon. The video shows how Elden Ring would be an even better game with Lechonks and Quaxlys running about, but it doesn’t make it any less deadly, as one particularly vicious Pokémon ambush demonstrates. Whether this version will be freely downloadable by anybody or whether this video is only a proof-of-concept demonstration is not yet known. We’ve contacted Arestame for clarification and will update this article if we hear back.
