When it comes to communicating with the people close to us, nothing comes close to the sheer diversity of features offered by the Android operating system. Google has ensured that they keep the base essence of the OS centered around the chief task of communicating with people, and as such, every new update to the OS has brought significant improvements to the calling and texting features, making them more robust and versatile.
One of the features that have undergone a significant improvement is the ‘conference call’ feature. Earlier, you had to undergo a long process to enable the conference call feature. However, with the new upgrades to the Android platform, making calls to multiple people at once is just a tap away.
In this tutorial, we will show you how to make a conference call on Android.
Step 1. Open the ‘Phone‘ app on your Android smartphone.
Step 2. Search for the contact you want to call first.
Step 3. Place a call to the contact.
Step 4. Once the contact accepts your call, you will see the default UI appear.
Step 5. Now, tap on the ‘Add Call‘ icon.
Step 6. Scroll through the contact list and tap on the second contact you want to add.
Step 7. Once the second contact accepts the call, tap on the ‘Merge‘ button.
You will now see that the call gets converted to a conference call. All the participants can now hear and speak to each other, making it a great experience.
