The Haas Formula 1 team has unveiled a major aerodynamic upgrade package, embracing a Red Bull-inspired approach to enhance their performance in the sport. Facing recent struggles and having only scored four points since the last Formula 1 race in Miami back in May, Haas is pinning its hopes on this substantial update.
The most noticeable change in the upgrade is the transformation of the sidepod inlets into a ‘letterbox’ shape, a design approach similar to that employed by the front-running Red Bull team. This adaptation aligns with the ‘downwash’ concept, which has proven highly successful in optimizing aerodynamics.
