Honor of Kings is heating up this August with an exciting lineup of martial arts-themed events and additions. From today, players can dive into the All-Star Fighters Open (AFO), a fantasy tournament featuring fighters from diverse cultural backgrounds and martial arts disciplines.
All-Star Fighters Open
The AFO brings together fighters like Mayene, Lian Po, and Lam, each representing different martial arts techniques. Players can explore the backstories of these characters and obtain new Ascension Skins:
- Mayene – Ascension: Capoeirista
- Lian Po – Ascension: Luchador
- Lam – Ascension: Pendekar
These skins honor the cultural origins of their respective fighting styles and are available for free during August through specific events:
- Mayene Skin Event: Fight On, Mayene! (August 17-23)
Earn martial tokens by logging in daily, teaming up, and achieving kills or assists. Use tokens to claim the Mayene skin. - Lam Skin Event: Help Me Get a Free Skin! (August 9-25)
Obtain Lam’s skin for free by participating in daily logins and inviting friends. Each day offers up to two bargain chances. - Lian Po Skin Event: Charge Ahead (August 16-30)
Choose Mayene, Lam, or Lian Po and complete Training Missions to level up and win the Lian Po skin.
Arcade Mode Addition
The Gemini Showdown introduces a new time-limited mode in Arcade Mode. Players can experience and master various martial arts styles in a special arena, customizing their skills with enemy techniques in 5v5 battles.
New Hero – Ziya
On August 20, Ziya, a Mage, will join the roster. Perfect for newcomers, Ziya offers:
- Long-range attacks and a safe distance.
- Extra EXP if enemies die shortly after taking damage from Ziya.
- A Level 15 sanctification ability that buffs a teammate, increasing their max level to 25.
Ziya’s Backstory
Ziya, initially an Enforcer and secret leader, sacrificed much of his divine power to defeat the Dark Master. After being sealed away by his disciple Wu Zetian, he achieved enlightenment during captivity. With the Dark Master Diqun threatening the mortal world again, Ziya breaks free from his imprisonment, ready to protect humanity in his own way.
