The recently launched iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max have encountered reports of discoloration on their new titanium frames, a concern that Apple has officially acknowledged. In an updated support document, as reported by MacRumors, Apple states that “for iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, the oil from your skin might temporarily alter the color of the outside band.”
However, there’s no need to panic, as Apple offers a simple solution: wiping the frame of the handset with a “soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth” will “restore the original look,” leaving your phone looking as good as new. Nevertheless, if you wish to prevent this issue altogether, investing in a protective case may be a wise choice.
