Tekken 8 Roster Partially Leaked via Steam’s Cheat Engine, Spoiling Excitement for Upcoming Fighters

Leaks can be a frustrating setback for game developers like Bandai Namco, as they can spoil the excitement and surprise of character reveals in Tekken 8. In this case, PC players were able to exploit the closed network tests using Cheat Engine, which allowed them to uncover six unannounced characters in the roster: Alisa, Raven, Steve, Shaheen, Yoshimitsu, and Zafina. This partial roster leak left out some expected characters like Kuma, Panda, and Robert “Bob” Richards.

Tekken 8’s roster announcements have faced other challenges as well. Bryan Fury’s character reveal was accidentally shown on an official Instagram account before its intended debut during the Combo Breaker fighting tournament.

Such leaks can be disheartening for game developers who put in years of hard work to create exciting and well-timed character announcements. However, despite these setbacks, fans are still looking forward to what Tekken 8 has in store for them when it’s officially released.
