Step 1. Open the Whatsapp messenger app on your smartphone.
Step 2. Next, open the Whatsapp settings from the toolbar.
Step 3. From the Whatsapp settings menu, tap on the accounts option.
Step 4. Tap on the Delete Account button to start the procedure.
Confirm the operation and your Whatsapp account will be deleted. Keep in mind, however, that once deleted, you will also lose all the chats and media associated with it unless you have manually taken a backup of the same.
Deleting your Whatsapp account also does the following –
It deletes your account info and profile photo
Deletes you from all Whatsapp groups
Deletes your message history on the current device.
