Meaning – The term GA, or general availability, is the period of time where the product is available for purchase to any individual or organization that wishes to buy it. Usually, when a product is launched, a few pieces are shipped off to the internal staff as well as hand-picked users and developers, who spend time with the product and offer their reviews and feedback. The company then works on this feedback, and if the changes to be made are not really significant, they may even choose to push them to a later date and release the product to the public. When this is done, it is known as GA or general availability. This means that anyone who likes the product and wishes to use the same, can go to the authorized resellers and acquire it without a problem.
