Genesis GV70 gets an off-road avatar

Genesis just dropped a bomb – the GV70 Project Overland. It’s a concept, and man, is it turning heads. Created to celebrate Delta’s 40th anniversary, this prototype transforms the already posh GV70 into a rugged beast, all thanks to a collaboration with off-road maestros Delta.

Now, it’s not just a pretty face. The Project Overland sits almost two inches higher from the ground, giving it a tougher stance. The 18-inch Classic B Rugged black wheels wrapped in Continental ATR tires peek out from under extended wheel arches. And if that’s not enough, there’s a suspension upgrade in the mix.

But let’s talk about those off-road vibes – additional PIAA lights on the roof and Baja Style lights integrated into the grille scream adventure. And for the gearheads who love to carry their essentials, there’s a specially designed roof rack with secure attachment points.

Curious to experience this beast up close? Head to the Essen Motor Show in Germany from December 1 to 10. You’ll find the GV70 Project Overland stealing the spotlight at the Continental booth.

Oh, and did I mention a facelifted GV70 is in the works? Rumor has it that it’s getting a front facelift with new G90-like headlights and a snazzy updated grille. Inside, there might be some cool upgrades too. The bigger GV80 might flaunt a giant 27-inch OLED curved screen, so fingers crossed the GV70 gets some sweet dashboard love too.
