Fortnite enthusiasts were already buzzing about a live event after a tweet addressed the backlash over recent age-rating restrictions on cosmetics in some Creative mode islands. The Fortnite account hinted at exciting things in the pipeline: “Welp, our plan for cosmetics with the ratings update didn’t hit the mark. We’re working on a few new options that we hope to have in place for, say… some sort of big in-game event. Stay tuned; we’ll keep you posted.”
In more recent news, Epic spilled the beans that the gating on most in-game cosmetics will be lifted “until we have a long-term solution in place.” Expect this change to roll out from December 3. Get ready for some Fortnite fireworks!
