According to a study, Ubisoft is thinking about extending its Ubisoft Plus subscription service with numerous additional levels. Subscription services, such as Sony’s PlayStation Plus, Xbox Game Pass, and EA Play, are becoming more popular among major video game developers and platforms. Ubisoft Plus is less complicated than these other services, but with a bright future in 2023, the publisher may be interested in expanding its revenue initiatives.
Ubisoft Plus, formerly known as Uplay Plus, debuted in 2019 as a monthly subscription gaming service that provided access to a library of Ubisoft titles. This offers first-day access to several of Ubisoft’s most recent titles. The service was previously available solely on PCs, but it has subsequently been made available on PlayStation and Xbox consoles as well. Ubisoft Plus usually costs $14.99 a month, however, it offers a $1 discount for the first month.
