Some teasers offer us a lot of information to chew on before a vehicle’s formal introduction. Other teasers are few and far between. While Subaru’s newest designs lean toward the latter, the outline we see is nonetheless intriguing.
Subaru stated on Thursday that the 2024 Impreza small vehicle would premiere at the Los Angeles Auto Show in late November.

That’s all we know for the time being. Subaru’s teaser is brief, stating on its website that the 2017 Impreza “will push the model’s up-for-anything adaptability, capability, and flair to new areas.” Will it be influenced by the WRX? That wouldn’t be surprising, but the teaser’s hatchback form suggests we’ll get a five-door option, something the WRX currently lacks.
The current Impreza has been on the market since the 2017 model year, so the arrival of a new generation shouldn’t come as a great surprise, since manufacturers often take five or six model years to put out a replacement. We’ll be in Los Angeles later this month, so stay tuned to CNET for more information on Subaru’s newest innovation.
