Rumor: The Game Awards will reveal the release date for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

That will change, according to the newest rumours, when the 2022 Game Awards air on December 8. On the social networking site Hive, industry insider Jeff Grubb stated that the game is among the future games set to arrive, adding that it should validate Survivor’s anticipated March 2023 release date. According to Insider Gaming, the announcement will take place roughly 30 minutes into the presentation and will include a new trailer, the release date, and the pre-order date. Of course, this is all unconfirmed information for the time being, so take it with a grain of salt until The Game Awards broadcast or EA teases a revelation.

There isn’t much official information on Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. EA has announced that it will re-star Cal five years after the events of Fallen Order, but fans have only speculated about how the game may improve on the gameplay of its predecessor. Based on a leaked action figure of Cal holding a blaster, it’s been rumoured that Survivor may incorporate guns, giving a new element to battle beyond Cal’s lightsaber and Force skills. Whether or if the game is shown at The Game Awards, EA should start providing some gameplay data sooner rather than later.
