In addition to the typical updates to the body, brakes, and suspension, the “Gazoo Racing Masters of Nürburgring” could potentially improve structural rigidity through additional spot welding points and a more extensive use of structural adhesives. While details on the drivetrain remain unconfirmed, it’s worth noting that the Prius Prime is currently exclusively front-wheel drive (FWD).
As for the release date of the Prius GRMN, it remains uncertain. Given that the fifth-generation Prius is relatively new, it may be some time before we see this high-performance variant hit the market. It’s also worth considering that Toyota might prioritize the introduction of the Supra GRMN, should they be working on a range-topping version of the coupe.
