Mazda Confirms New CX-5 for 2025, Likely With Hybrid Powertrain

Mazda’s popular CX-5 SUV, which sold an impressive 365,135 units last year, was rumored to be facing an uncertain future due to the arrival of newer models. However, recent reports suggest that the CX-5 will indeed continue with a new, third-generation iteration.

While an official launch date has yet to be confirmed, Mazda has announced that the new CX-5 will join the CX-50 and larger CX-90 SUVs in showrooms. Similar to the current model, the upcoming CX-5 is expected to feature a four-cylinder engine, front-wheel drive as standard, and optional all-wheel drive.
