The franchise mode in the Madden series initially featured in Madden NFL 99, with the renamed CFM debuting in 2013. (The most recent version allows you to handle a player, coach, or owner during a career simulation.) Given how many hours it may take to establish your league, it’s difficult to envision players with corrupted saves accepting EA’s recommendation to start again.
