In its upcoming iOS 17 update, Apple is set to introduce a game-changing enhancement to its camera functionality. The tech giant’s Shortcuts app will now feature new camera shortcuts, allowing users to access select camera modes instantly, without the need to navigate through the full camera app.
The iOS 17 beta, eagerly explored by Shortcuts enthusiast Matthew Cassinelli, reveals that the new update will bring forth essential camera modes, conveniently placed at users’ fingertips. Among the modes available for direct launch are Cinematic, Pano, Photo, Portrait, Portrait Selfie, Selfie, Slo-Mo, Time-Lapse, and Video.
