CES 2024 is almost upon us and Razer seems to be readying two new laptop offerings for the event. The first laptop will be the updated Razer Blade 18 laptop which will feature an updated 165 Hz 18-inch 4K display, and the second offering is the Razer Blade 16 Laptop which will feature a 240 Hz 16-inch OLED display.
The Razer Blade 16 laptop that was launched last year was very impressive and was loved by critics and fans alike, which makes us believe this new version of the laptop will be even more impressive, given the 240 Hz refresh rate upgrade. Razer has not revealed the pricing and detailed specs yet, as they will want to leverage the CES platform to the fullest. What they have revealed though, is that the display has been co-developed by Samsung, who have themselves announced three new displays to their Odyssey gaming monitor portfolio.
The display will feature a QHD+ resolution, and a response time of a stunning 0.2ms, which is absolutely game-changing in our opinion. The panel will also come with a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and its black levels will likely impress with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification.
The Razer Blade 18 will move from the QHD resolution of last year to a 4K resolution, while the response time will be 0.3 ms. It will also come with Nvidia G-Sync support and cover 100 per cent of the DCI-P3 colour space. Reports are also indicating a rugged new high-grade CNC aluminium unibody construction, which will definitely take these new laptops to the absolute next level.
If you are looking to buy a new gaming laptop, tune in to the CES 2024 event as Razer is bringing the storm.
