Nintendo has released the 15.0.1 Switch Console Update

OatmealDome, a Twitter user, datamined and discovered further information about version 15.0.1, claiming that the system’s internal “bad words list” was changed for Japanese speakers in particular. According to OatmealDome’s updates, words that essentially translate to ordering someone else to “shut up” in fury, as well as others that advise someone to “disappear” or “go lost,” have been added to the list. Other minor adjustments were made to the system’s built-in programs and web browser for stability concerns, as well as to different system modules utilized in the system code, according to OatmealDome. As usual, overall system stability was increased to improve the console’s user experience. It remains to be seen if this wave of system firmware updates will have a visible impact on games, as was the case with the Switch’s Skyrim Anniversary Edition upgrade.

With the recent release of titles such as Mario + Rabbids Spark of Hope and Bayonetta 3, Switch gamers now have a variety of genres to select from. With the arrival of the highly anticipated Pokemon Scarlet and Violet on November 18, Switch fans will have even more to enjoy.
