Google Duo has evolved over the years, and today, along with the ability to perform voice and video calls, it also allows users to send catchy video messages.
These video messages can be sent to any Duo user and are active for 24 hours, so your contact has a whole day to check out and respond to the video message. There is however a nice feature that allows you to even save a video message that you have composed, or received from someone.
In this tutorial, we will show you how to save a video message on Google Duo.
Step 1. Open the Google Duo app on your device. You will see the welcome screen.
Step 2. Swipe down on the welcome screen to start recording a video message.
Step 3. Press the record button and record your message.
Step 4. Once you finish recording, tap the ‘Next button.
Step 5. In the search bar, enter the name of the contact that you want to send the message. At the moment, you can send the video message to 32 people at a time.
Step 6. Now let’s save the video message.
Step 7. Tap on the contact that you sent the message to. You will now see the video message below the contact name.
Step 8. Long press the video message to reveal a drop-down menu.
Step 9. Tap on ‘Save’.
The video message will now be saved on your device.
