Checking the Drivers in Windows 10 –
- In this method, we will check whether or not the microphone’s drivers are up to date. To do this, open the Control Panel and search for Device Manager in the search bar. Open the Device Manager.
- Navigate through the list, locate the Sound, Video and Game Controllers option, and expand it.
- Now Right-Click on the Microphone Device and select the Update Driver option.
- Next, click on the Search Automatically for Updated Driver Software, and assuming that your internet connectivity is stable, Windows 10 will automatically browse and download the Latest Drivers for the Microphone.
- If the current drivers on the Microphone are the latest build available, Windows 10 will prompt you that the drivers you have are the latest available.
- If Windows 10 detects a new driver, it will download and install it. You will have to reboot your device after the installation.
- Sometimes, Windows 10 will find a new driver but will prompt you to manually install it. In such cases, you will have to go to the manufacturer’s website and download the latest drivers from there.
