HONOR Introduces New Brand Strategy for 2021

To achieve its brand mission and satisfy the evolving needs of its customers, HONOR introduced its refreshed brand strategy. By focusing on three key pillars: All Scenarios, All Channels and All People, while continuing to embrace its “1+8+N” product strategy, HONOR will strive to create a new intelligent world for everyone.

An Unwavering Focus on Innovation, Quality and Service

HONOR’s commitment to innovation and R&D is unwavering. Its current workforce includes almost 8,000 employees who will cover the entire spectrum of end-to-end operations, including over 50% R&D staff. With five R&D centers and over 100 innovation labs worldwide, HONOR is committed to developing powerful technology that empowers people to become a better version of themselves.

Based on global consumer needs, HONOR has the flexibility and independence to choose the best solutions for its global supply chain. HONOR has already confirmed partnerships with leading suppliers such as AMD, Intel, MediaTek, Micron Technology, Microsoft, Qualcomm, Samsung, SK hynix, and Sony.

With a laser focus on quality, each product developed by HONOR goes through a stringent quality-control process to ensure its safety and reliability, passing over 400 different examinations and receiving 20 global certifications[1] before going on-sale. Providing fast and effective support for its users is equally important, with over 3,000 service centers and 43 call centers across 82 countries and regions, HONOR’s after-sales service team will continue to work closely with leading service providers all over the world.

Award Winning Product Line-Up and E-Commerce Success Fuels Future Growth Plans

Testament to its success, HONOR’s latest line-up of IoT products received a raft of awards and accolades at CES 2021. The all-new HONOR Band 6 was crowned a “Best of CES 2021” product by media such as Android Authority, Phandroid, PocketNow, and Tech Advisor, while the upgraded HONOR MagicBook Pro won “Best of CES 2021” from Android Headlines, Newsweek, and Ubergizmo. In addition to its award-winning products, HONOR’s sales channels continue to strengthen. From 2018 to 2020, HONOR has become the number one online smartphone brand in China. This achievement fuels HONOR’s ambitious plans to expand into more offline markets around the world in 2021 and beyond.

HONOR View40: Latest Smartphone Launch Delights the Senses with Advanced Display & Powerful Hardware

Making its debut at HONOR’s “Sense the Future” online event, the all-new HONOR View40 has been designed to delight the senses, delivering a stunning visual experience thanks to its advanced display technology. The waterfall curved 2676 x 1236-pixel 6.72-inch[2] display is a 10-bit (8+2-bit) OLED screen, which gives it the ability to display over 1 billion colors. This allows it to cover the entire DCI-P3 color space, giving the HONOR View40 professional-level color accuracy. The HONOR View40 screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 300Hz touch response, making viewing and using the display an incredibly smooth experience. In addition, HDR10 support offers rich colors and details every time.

Powering the HONOR View40 is the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ SoC. Building on the powerful chipset, the HONOR View40 is equipped with GPU Turbo X and Hunter Boost optimizations to further improve gaming performance.

Packed with a 4000mAh battery, the HONOR View40 supports an incredibly fast 66W SuperCharge. It takes just 15 minutes to charge up to 60 percent capacity, and just 35 minutes to fully charge the HONOR View40. The device also supports 50W wireless charging, allowing users to achieve a 50 percent charge in just 30 minutes without any cables.

When it comes to photography, a 50MP RYYB sensor (1/1.56-inch) powers the main camera system on the HONOR View40, offering incredibly detailed photos and great low-light performance, as well as amazing 4K videos. Further boosting performance, 5G connectivity offers fast data transfers and lag-free gameplay when using a supporting network provider.

HONOR MagicBook Series Gets a Boost with Powerful New Processors

HONOR also introduced two new upgrades to the HONOR MagicBook Series, with the all-new new HONOR MagicBook 14 and HONOR MagicBook 15. Featuring the latest 11th Gen Intel Core i7-1165G7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce MX450 discrete graphics, the new models offer a powerful user experience. Compared to the previous generation, overall performance is up by 49 percent, with a maximum frequency of 4.7GHz. In addition, the HONOR MagicBook 14 and 15 are both equipped with Wi-Fi 6 and a 2X2 MIMO dual-antenna design, enabling wireless transfer speeds of up to 2400Mbps, approximately 2.7 times the speed of Wi-Fi 5.

The brand-new HONOR MagicBook 14 and 15 boast sleek and lightweight designs. The HONOR MagicBook 14 weighs just 1.38kg and is only 15.9mm thin, easily fitting in most bags and allowing users to enjoy ultimate portability and unparalleled performance on the go. The 1980 x 1080-pixel fully-laminated screen reduces the reflection of light off the LCD panel, creating an immersive and true-to-life display even under direct sunlight.
