Flipboard’s iOS and Android applications now contain the notes functionality, which was first introduced on the web in December. The update adds new social features to the Flipboard mobile apps. According to the firm, notes are an easy way to start discussions, share ideas, and maybe establish mini communities around a common interest or topic.
Creators can contribute unique material to shared magazines using notes, such as commentary, photographs, links, and video embeds. They may attract additional users into the fold by mentioning them in notes and comments. In a magazine, touch on the create (i.e., pencil) symbol to begin a note.
According to Flipboard, notes truly sing in group magazines since the feature allows all authors to express their thoughts and start dialogues. When someone in the group adds a remark or comment, all magazine owners and contributors will be notified. Also, remarks contributed to subscribed periodicals may appear in users’ For You feeds.
