Disney Dreamlight Valley in 2023: Gameloft Teases a Sneak Peek

Tomorrow, Gameloft will make a major announcement about its intentions for Disney Dreamlight Valley in 2023. The game will be released later this year, but an early access version of Disney Dreamloft Valley is now accessible.

Popular Disney and Pixar characters may be found in Disney Dreamlight Valley, a life-simulation adventure game like Nintendo’s Animal Crossing series. After falling asleep while visiting their childhood home, the player characters awaken to find themselves in the eponymous Dreamlight Valley. After the disappearance of their leader, several Disney and Pixar characters returned to their home realms. Those that remained, however, began to lose their memories owing to the impact of weird vines known as Night Thorns, and it is the player’s responsibility to sweep them out and reconstruct the town.

The makers of Disney Dreamlight Valley intrigued gamers with a mysterious message on the game’s official Twitter account. The tweet didn’t say much, save that Dreamlight Valley fans should brace themselves for their first peek at what the game has in store for the first half of 2023. When the tweet went out Tuesday at 11 a.m. Eastern/8 a.m. Pacific, the big revelation was just 24 hours away. While the trailer didn’t provide much new information, Disney Dreamlight Valley gamers won’t have to wait long to find out what Gameloft has in store for them.

The majority of fans were ecstatic with the news, and they celebrated with a variety of presents, many of which included Disney characters. Other Disney Dreamlight Valley fans asked for more characters or features, such as the ability to alter the doors inside their home, as well as problem patches. There was also one snarky response from a player who had lost all game progress owing to an earlier update.

Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Donald Duck, and Scrooge McDuck are among the 21 Disney Dreamlight Valley characters. Players can also meet Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff from Frozen, Ariel, Eric, and Ursula from The Little Mermaid, Buzz and Woody from Toy Story, Mother Gothel from Tangled, Moana and Maui from Moana, Merlin from The Sword in the Stone, Remy from Ratatouille, Scar from The Lion King, Stitch from Lilo & Stitch, and the titular robot from WALLE.

Some Twitter users expressed excitement that Gameloft’s plans for 2023 include the addition of Belle and Cinderella to Disney Dreamlight Valley, both of whom are slated to feature in the final release. Other proposals were Princesses Jasmine and Snow White, Rapunzel and Flynn from Tangled, and Simba and Rafiki from The Lion King. Characters from more obscure Disney flicks, such as Kida from Atlantis and Treasure Planet’s protagonist Jim, were also requested.
