Blue Frog Immersive thinks the problem with most VR concerts isn’t the visuals — it’s the distance. The company has launched a new Apple Vision Pro app designed to make live performances feel more like you’re sitting a few feet from the artist, not watching from the back of a virtual arena.
The app went live on the Vision Pro App Store on April 29, 2026 and centers on sets recorded inside Blue Frog Studios, a small studio space that the company says was chosen for its acoustics and intimacy. In practical terms, that means the camera placement and audio mix are tuned for “in-the-room” presence rather than big-stage spectacle.
Under the hood, Blue Frog Immersive is leaning on high-end capture and spatial audio: dual 8K stereoscopic capture, spatial audio, and a head?tracked Dolby Atmos mix. That combination matters for Vision Pro in particular, where head-tracked audio and high-resolution stereoscopic video can make or break the illusion. If the mix doesn’t move naturally as you turn your head, or if the image falls apart when you lean in, the experience quickly turns from “present” to “plastic.”
At launch, the app includes six performances, featuring artists like Sugaray Rayford, Miss Emily, and Dawson Gray. Blue Frog says it plans to add more shows regularly — an important detail if it wants to be more than a novelty download for early Vision Pro adopters.
