The award-winning Automobili Pininfarina PURA Vision design concept will make its European debut on the shores of Lake Como, Italy, at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, from May 24 to 26, 2024.
The return of the Italian luxury brand has been highly anticipated after the hyper-electric Battista won the coveted Design Award at the 2021 event. This is a historic achievement, marking the first time an electric vehicle has received such an accolade.
Set against the picturesque backdrop of Lake Como and the luxurious Villa d’Este hotel, the show is one of the highlights of the European automotive calendar. It brings together the most exquisite, valuable, and influential historic vehicles with the world’s most exciting, daring, and creative concept cars.

Since its public debut at Monterey Car Week last August, PURA Vision has been widely recognized and awarded around the world. Most notably, it was recently awarded a prestigious iF Design Award 2024 in recognition of its innovative combination of timeless design and futuristic connected electric luxury.
With its elegant silhouette, dramatic proportions and clean surface, PURA Vision expresses Automobili Pininfarina’s PURA design philosophy, which effortlessly transforms the DNA of classic models from Pininfarina SpA’s past to define the future.
PURA Vision represents a unique sculptural statement with its low hood and high fenders inspired by the iconic Cisitalia 1947 – the first vehicle to enter the collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. Its sleek exterior features bold proportions at the rear of the cabin that create an unmistakable presence. PURA Vision’s glass doors and three-opening, seatless and seatless lounge doors provide unrestricted access to the spacious 2+2 cabin. It is inspired by the iconic pill-free design of the Lancia Florida, which was designed by Battista Farina in the 1950s and sparked the creativity behind the recently unveiled Battista Cinquantacinque.

The exterior jewellery focuses on the attention to detail for which Automobili Pininfarina is renowned. These include a specially designed anodized aluminum beltline around the glass, which starts with the wind screen and traces a sleek, unbroken arc around PURA Vision.
The sophisticated cab seamlessly blends handcrafted luxury with cutting-edge technology. Soft semi-aniline leather blends with a signature fabric throughout the process, creating a sense of unparalleled luxury. When required, a central screen rises from the console, while the headrest speakers provide individual sound zones for each occupant. The truly personalized travel experience is complemented by a wine cooler integrated between the two rear seats, ensuring occupants enjoy contemporary luxury in every way.
