ARM Holdings has officially become a minority stakeholder in one of the most popular micro computing brand, the Raspberry Pi Foundation.
The intention behind this investment is clear – ARM wants to bring AI to the masses. Currently, AI tools are either inaccessible to the general public or are too expensive to get a hold of. This is indirectly creating a monopoly in the market and with this partnership with Raspberry Pi, the Cambridge based company wants to break the trend.
