There has been considerable conjecture regarding Crystal Dynamics’ approach to the forthcoming Tomb Raider game. While no specifics have been given, Crystal Dynamics’ latest investor meeting suggested that additional information would be released by next year. When questioned about the future Tomb Raider game, Crystal Dynamics CEO Phil Rogers said that although details cannot be revealed at this time, he is thrilled about the route the team has chosen for the next game. Details about the upcoming Tomb Raider are expected to be released in 2023.
Since this year, the new Tomb Raider has been under active development. Crystal Dynamics has said that the game will have “next-level narrative and gameplay experiences” thanks to the usage of Unreal Engine 5. The game might also be released next year, but fans will have to wait for an official statement from the developer. However, gamers do know that it will most likely be released on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X.
