Design and Display

Once again this device is going to steal the show in terms of brilliant design and the stylish all metal unibody design its sure gonna catch attention of all just like the M7 did it last year.The device is now 90% metal as compared with previous models that had 70% metal body. The brushed metal body gives it the premium look and feel which gives the iPhone a run for its money. It is a bit on the heavier side with the weight of 160g and the thickness is 9.35 mm. It comes with Android 4.4 KitKat and quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. This comes with 5.2 inch screen and resolution of 1920 X 1080p. The Corning Gorilla glass will help you to avoid scratches.

Memory

The big thing about this device is that the makers have brought back the MicroSD slot, therefore, now you can expand your memory when you run out of the internal memory. If you have 16 GB/ 32 GB, it can be easily expanded to whopping 128GB.

Software & User Interface

HTC One M8 comes with Android 4.4 KitKat the latest in Android and packs with new sense 6.0 UI. HTC’s sense UI seems to be the sleekest and simplest UI among any other Android smartphones UI and in some cases you will feel better than the stock android UI . The font selection and icon set provided by default on HTC One M8 is the most modern and stylish interface on any Android smartphone and no noticeable lag on performance with  HTC sense 6.0 also called 6th sense by the HTC folks. Blink feed continues to be the standard home screen of your smartphone with news feeds from your social network and other reputed news sources and an option to customize your blink feed.Full marks for the Sense 6.0.

Camera

You can enjoy clicking the image with rear ultrapixel camera, but when it is exposed to broad daylight then you see the noise clearly.  Honestly I am not fan of Ultrapixel camera technology that HTC introduced last year on M7 and images taken with the rear camera might have varying results depending upon the lighting .As you have noticed there are 2 rear cameras on the HTC One M8 one camera adds for the depth and give you 3d shots as well. The images taken from HTC one M8 is good for sharing on social media (as that remains the primary purpose for majority)unless you have the habit of taking photo prints or working on image editing software like Photoshop on your computer Iam afraid the images lacks sharpness for that. The 5 MP front camera with the wide-angle lens perfect for the #Selfies is there along with video recording facility is available .

Battery

The battery is decent enough to last 7-8 hours  (non-removable Li-Po 2600 mAh battery) under heavy usage and the extreme battery saving mode will give you much very impressive results.
