Neopets is officially back. The iconic virtual pet franchise that captured the hearts of over 150 million players during the browser-game era has made its long-awaited modern console debut with Neopets: Mega Mini Games Collection, now available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
Publisher U&I Entertainment, working with Bolt Production International and developer No Gravity Games, has packaged 25 classic Neopets mini-games into a single collection designed to hook nostalgic millennials while welcoming a new generation to the world of Neopia.
What’s in the Box
The digital edition includes a brand-new 26th game called Starlight Symphony, developed in collaboration with the official Neopets team. But collectors will want to eye the limited-edition physical Treasure Pack, which bundles the game with stickers, art postcards, a double-sided poster, scratch cards, exclusive in-game cosmetics, and a secret 27th mini-game waiting to be unlocked—all tucked inside a foil collector’s bag.
Key Features
The collection features a Story Mode with a fully mapped Neopia, guided by a companion character named Nyx. Local co-op multiplayer and global leaderboards (via Neopass integration) round out the social features, though Nintendo online approval is still pending.
Players who link their Neopets.com accounts can earn cosmetics, currency, and exclusive digital items across platforms.
Looking Ahead
U&I Entertainment is positioning this as more than a nostalgia play. The company has teased ongoing support including seasonal events, DLC, and time-limited challenges—all powered through the Neopass system. For a franchise that defined casual gaming for an entire generation, this console jump could mark the beginning of Neopets’ second act.
