Asus Unveils 162-Inch ProArt Cinema PQ09U 4K Micro-LED Monitor for Creators

Asus has taken big-screen displays to the next level with the launch of the ProArt Cinema PQ09U, a massive 162-inch micro-LED monitor designed for creative professionals and cinematic projects. This display is not your average living room TV, rather, it is aimed at studios, design spaces, or anyone needing an ultra-large canvas for editing or showcasing high-resolution content.

The PQ09U features a 4K UHD HDR panel with a 0.93mm pixel pitch, offering sharper and smoother visuals even when viewed up close. With a peak brightness of 1200 nits, a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1, and 97% DCI-P3 color coverage, it delivers vivid and accurate color reproduction that is perfect for film production and digital art.

Compared to traditional micro-LED panels with wider pixel pitch, this monitor promises better clarity and smoothness, which comes in handy for large-scale post-production work or even home cinema setups. The monitor also packs in AI-enhanced productivity tools, along with ultra-fast networking options like 10GbE and WiFi 7 for rapid file transfers and seamless workflow integration.

Asus says the PQ09U is intended for spaces where creative professionals require uncompromising quality and scale—whether for screening rooms, presentations, or big-budget projects. The company also showcased a companion 27-inch PA27USD model for compact setups.

As far as the availability or pricing is concerned, we have no news yet about either and we will update this space when the brand makes an announcement in that direction.
