According to a report from Insider Gaming, confirmed by Windows Central, the 2023 Call of Duty title will be the first in the series to be available on the subscription service.
Microsoft plans to make a formal announcement soon, likely tied to the recent news of the Xbox Game Pass price increase.
The company will raise subscription tiers for all memberships, including Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Xbox Game Pass Core, and PC Game Pass. A new membership tier called ‘Standard’ will be introduced, which won’t include day-one releases.
In May, Microsoft announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be available on Xbox Game Pass for all members on its release day later this year, making it the first new game in the series to be added to the service.
Earlier this month, a reliable leaker revealed that more Activision titles could also join the subscription service. These include Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, set to launch in August, as well as Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 and the Spyro Reignited Trilogy. These games are expected to debut soon, although Activision and Microsoft have not yet confirmed this.
