The Fiat 500e will be available in the United States in 2024

The new Fiat 500e is now available in the United States. The news was made at a press conference at the 2022 Los Angeles Auto Show.

Fiat’s first 500e EV, a conversion of the gasoline-powered 500, went on sale in 2012. In the 2019 model year, that model, along with the rest of the 500 range, was discontinued in the United States. While Fiat introduced the New 500 EV in Europe in 2020, it was never sold in the United States. However, a new all-electric 500e will be available in North America in early 2024. The US model will be fully shown during the 2023 Los Angeles Auto Show.

Fiat has not disclosed any details on the future North American model. The European New 500, on the other hand, may serve as a guide for what is to come. The EV was initially offered as a two-door cabriolet, with a three-door hatch arriving later. Fiat supplied the car with 24 kWh and 42 kWh batteries, with ranges of 115 and 199 miles, respectively. Depending on the engine, the output is 94 or 117 horsepower. Given US market preferences, expect the North American model to have more power and range than the European model, maybe even exceeding it.
