Meta’s new switcher consolidates all of your Facebook accounts and finstas into a one location

Meta is experimenting with a new method to create and move between Instagram and Facebook accounts by integrating its Accounts Center within the applications. The additions should make it simpler for someone who often switches between accounts on the two apps or has a large number of Instagram profiles to segregate their Online Brand, personal life, and work.

The new Facebook and Instagram account switcher displays all of the accounts and profiles you’ve added to the Accounts Center. While Instagram has always allowed you to move between multiple profiles, the new method allows you to include Facebook accounts in the mix, making it quicker to go over to Facebook if you need to accomplish anything there. It’ll also provide you some data about notifications for each account – for example, if you’re surfing your personal account, the switcher will show you whether there are any comments or other alerts on your other accounts to check out.
