What is Facebook Jail

What is Facebook Jail

So the first thing you need to know is that you should never try these stunts and most definitely, do not send friend requests to people you do not know.

Number 2. DO NOT post content you are not supposed to

Facebook allows for all kinds of content types on its platform. You can upload images, videos, Gifs, and much more for your friends or followers to see. However, to ensure quality, Facebook has listed out the kinds of content that are not tolerated on Facebook.

  • No nudity or sexually suggestive content.
  • No hate speech, credible threats, or direct attacks on an individual or group.
  • No content that contains self-harm or excessive content.
  • No fake or impostor timelines.
  • No SPAM

If you end up posting either one of these kinds of content, you are hit with a warning. If you stop, you are out of the crosshairs. However, if you continue your trend of going against Facebook’s content policy, your account is blocked and in due time, Deleted.

Number 3. DO NOT send too many messages

Facebook users use Messenger to communicate with their friends right on the platform. However, if you start sending too many messages to a contact (even if you know them), it is seen as SPAM by the Facebook algorithm.

If this pattern is recurring on your account, you will be flagged and as a result, you can be hit by the Facebook Jail embargo.

Number 4. DO NOT use your profile to conduct business

Facebook allows you to conduct actual business on its platform. The Pages feature was introduced to allow for this very purpose, but there are still some people out there who continue running their business from their personal accounts.
