Facebook has set itself to be the social media overlord, and with ownership of all major platforms, there is no one who can really challenge this fact. Over the years, Facebook has helped people reconnect with old friends, share updates with family and social groups, collaborate with people all over the world, and much much more. Changing times have changed priorities for people, and it looks like the crowd is warming up to the image-sharing platform Instagram over the regular Facebook application, while there are some who have lost interest altogether and want out of the social media circus as a whole.
Facebook allows us to post any number of posts on any topic under the sun. This can be personal, professional, or even branded content. Now, if you are creating a post related to a particular brand or user and you want to ensure that they interact with it or at least see it, you can tag them in the post.
In this tutorial, we will show you how to tag a user on Facebook.
Step 1. Open the web browser on your PC/Laptop.
Step 2. In the URL bar, type in www.facebook.com.
Step 3. Sign in to your Facebook account. Make sure you enter the correct credentials for your own account.
Step 4. On the home page, click on the entry window under the ‘Create Post’ tab.
Step 5. Type in the post and then tag the account in the post by using the ‘@username’ format.
Step 6. You will now see the various accounts in the drop-down list.
