Given The Last of Us’s popularity, it’s surprising that this port hasn’t been announced sooner. What we may expect from the remake has been confirmed in a blog post. It reads, “In this single-player experience, we’ve introduced modernized gameplay, improved controls, and extended accessibility choices to allow even more people to enjoy the game.” All of the effects, exploration, and combat have been improved. We also used the strong hardware of the PS5 to integrate 3D Audio, haptics, and adaptive triggers. Both loyal fans and new players will be able to experience The Last of Us Part I and its prequel story Left Behind in entirely new ways.”
