The Kindle Scribe update includes additional brushes and improved organisation

Amazon is updating the Kindle Scribe with additional functionality. A recent update adds additional brush kinds to the e-reader / digital notepad, including a fountain pen, marker, and pencil, each with five thickness options. The new tools react to pressure and angle changes, and they can be used everywhere you can write on the tablet. The update is set to be released today.

The Scribe update also improves notebook organisation by allowing you to create subfolders that can be moved in and out of regular folders. While examining a folder after the update, you’ll see a new “+” option; hit it to create a subdirectory. While viewing a folder or subfolder, hit the three-dot contextual menu, pick “move,” and drag it to a new location.

Lastly, the update allows you to go to particular pages. You may do so by choosing “Go to page” from the three-dot menu and inputting the URL of the desired page.
