Caterham has announced a new development partnership with Yamaha Motor for its electric sports coupe, Project V. Yamaha will provide its latest cutting-edge e-axle technology, enhancing the lightweight, compact electric powertrain that stays true to Caterham's DNA of simplicity and fun-to-drive vehicles. The prototype, developed by TOKYO R&D, is expected to be completed by mid-2025. This collaboration marks a key milestone in Caterham’s electric vehicle journey, accelerating the delivery of Project V to market while integrating advanced vehicle motion control technology from Yamaha.
