Spotify is giving new Spotify Premium subscribers three months of subscription for free. New individual and student customers may take advantage of the three-month deal, while new Spotify Duo and family users can get one month free. Former Premium members are not eligible for the promotion, but those who cancel before July 15th will be able to reactivate their membership for $9.99 for the first three months.
Users may take advantage of the new deal through Sunday, September 11th. After the three-month trial period expires, members who take advantage of the offer will be charged the subscription’s normal amount. Those interested may join up for the service at Spotify.com/Premium.
This recent agreement might help Spotify maintain its expanding subscriber base while the firm pauses recruiting due to economic worries. The number of subscribers climbed to 188 million during the company’s second quarter, up from 182 million in the first quarter, with the platform’s total user count expanding to 433 million, up from 422 million in the first.
Spotify has also lately added several new features. The corporation now provides a separate play and shuffle button to its paying members. In addition, the business has begun to roll out a makeover that helps distinguish between podcasts and music. However, there is still no indication of Spotify HiFi.
