Prime Gaming has announced the latest World of Warcraft collectible item that players can obtain for free during May. The exclusive Lil’ XT battle pet is available to players with an Amazon Prime subscription or free trial until May 25th. The pet is modeled after the XT-002 Deconstructor boss from the Ulduar raid in Wrath of the Lich King, and has violent interactions with certain toys.
Prime Gaming recently revealed plans to give away free World of Warcraft loot each month for the next year. The first of these rewards was the Big Battle Bear mount, which was previously only obtainable by redeeming a code from the now-discontinued World of Warcraft trading card game.
Although the Lil’ XT battle pet was originally available on the Battle.net Shop and was given away through various promotions, it was removed from the shop in 2019, making it difficult to obtain. However, Prime Gaming’s latest giveaway provides players with another opportunity to get their hands on this rare item.

Despite the excitement surrounding these limited-time giveaways, some players are unhappy that their exclusive items are being given away for free. However, it seems that World of Warcraft will continue this trend for future Twitch Drops and Prime Gaming rewards.
In addition to the Lil’ XT pet, World of Warcraft is also launching two Twitch Drop campaigns for the upcoming release of Embers of Neltharion. By watching four hours of Dragonflight on Twitch during the first and second weeks of the Patch’s launch respectively, players can earn the Ethereal Portal toy and the Blazing Hippogryph mount, both of which were previously expensive TCG exclusives.
For World of Warcraft fans, these giveaways are an exciting opportunity to obtain rare and valuable items, and it’s worth taking advantage of them while they are available.
