Plans for Fortnite’s Next In-Game Concert Have Leaked

Epic Games’ plans for the upcoming Fortnite in-game concert have already been revealed. To many people’s astonishment, Fortnite has become a hotspot for spectacular musical events. Musical events like Travis Scott, Marshmello, Diplo, Ariana Grande, and others have proved to be an eye-catching approach to attract enormous crowds to Fortnite and garner notice from artists. The next musical star to debut in Fortnite seems to be decided.

From event to event, Fortnite offers a wide range of musical experiences. Live Events such as Travis Scott’s Astronomical are examples of this. These sorts of events entail the release of a one-of-a-kind playlist that can only be accessed at certain times. Alternatively, there are Party Royale Events, which are more informal events that begin on a regular basis, similar to a typical Fortnite battle. Larger acts tend to be Live Events, where they get more attention, but smaller acts tend to be Party Royale Events, where they might receive more long-term attention.

According to Insider Gaming, the next Fortnite concert will be the Kid LAROI. According to leaked information, the Fortnite x the Kid LAROI performance will begin on January 24 or 25, although it will be accessible for a month following its premiere. Unfortunately, the source was unable to confirm any information about format or microtransaction availability, however, it seems that it will be a Party Royale Event with purchasable skins.

Australian rapper and musician The Kid LAROI had a sudden increase in fame with the 2020 release of his Juice Wrld duet song “Go.” Since then, the 19-year-old has collaborated with superstars such as Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber. Needless to say, he’s a rising star and considering that his fame began during the epidemic, he’s capitalised on his reach exceptionally well. In that scenario, collaborating with Fortnite makes a lot of sense.

Over the last several months, Fortnite has seen a lot of huge collaborations, but musical collaborations have been surprisingly scarce. Epic Games has collaborated with Black Adam, Star Wars, Polo Ralph Lauren, My Hero Academia, and other organisations. The most recent musical collaboration might have been with Aya Nakamura in October 2022.

The Kid LAROI musical collaboration is especially intriguing since it will be the first since Epic Games upgraded Fortnite to Unreal Engine 5.1. This may mean better images for collaboration or discovering new entertaining techniques and experiences. However, the cooperation has yet to be formally announced. If the late-January timeframe is correct, Fortnite gamers should anticipate an announcement shortly.
