Pixel series gets a small redesign, catching up to other Android phones

Google’s Pixel OS is set to receive a quality-of-life update that will separate the volume controls for ringtones and notifications, according to reports. While users can already adjust the volume for media and alarms separately, this feature will allow them to silence notifications without affecting phone calls. The update has been in the works for about 18 months, according to the original Google IssueTracker post. While Google didn’t see the request as a high priority, a comment on the post confirmed that the update would be available in a future build.
