On the same day as Nintendo’s Direct, PlayStation will conduct a State of Play
Sony has recently announced that a PlayStation State of Play video presentation will take place on Tuesday at 6 p.m. ET. The event will last roughly 20 minutes and will include games for PS5, PS4, and PSVR2.
The presentation takes place ahead of the Tokyo Game Show, which begins later this week. This State of Play will include “some wonderful improvements from our outstanding Japanese partners, as well as a few additional surprises from developers all around the globe,” according to Sid Shuman of Sony Interactive Entertainment in a blog post.
Tune in at 7 a.m. PT tomorrow, 9/13, for a #NintendoDirect livestream featuring roughly 40 minutes of information mostly focused on #NintendoSwitch games launching this winter.
Tuesday is shaping up to be a major day for video game news, with Nintendo’s next big Direct presentation taking place only a few hours earlier at 10 AM ET, and Sony recognized the situation in a tweet in response to Nintendo’s Direct announcement.
