Asgard’s Wrath 2 incorporates several key features expected from a modern action RPG. Crafting, minigames such as fishing and a slingshot shooting gallery, extensive exploration, gear and weapon upgrades, and increasingly challenging enemies as the player progresses are all present. Both the player character and their animal companions possess skill trees for leveling up. Similar to the first game, players can manipulate the world using cosmic powers. The inclusion of elemental weaponry introduces more variety and customization in combat, while the ability to possess mortals allows players to utilize their unique skills and abilities to aid them in fulfilling their destinies.
