With Apple’s entry into the virtual headset space just around the corner, Meta aims to leave a lasting impression by showcasing a range of VR titles from beloved franchises, such as Assassin’s Creed, Stranger Things, Ghostbusters, and Attack on Titan, along with VR remakes of classic games.

One of the most intriguing games in Meta’s lineup is Assassin’s Creed Nexus VR. While details remain scarce, Meta confirmed that the next VR installment in the long-running Assassin’s Creed series will be available in the Meta Quest Store later this year. Fans will have to wait until Ubisoft Forward on June 12th for the official reveal and more information about the game.

Stranger Things VR, developed by Tender Claws, offers players the chance to embody the season four villain Vecna. Players will invade the dreams and memories of fan-favorite characters, utilizing telekinetic powers to possess minds and battle creatures. The gameplay includes telekinetic actions like grabbing, crushing, and throwing opponents, as well as manipulating portals. The game will launch this fall on major VR platforms, including Meta Quest Pro/3/2.

Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord takes players into the iconic Ghostbusters universe, allowing them to wield proton packs and other classic equipment to bust ghosts in solo or co-op gameplay. The game promises to deliver the humor and frights fans have come to love from the franchise. Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord is set to launch on Meta headsets this fall.

The 7th Guest, a popular adventure/puzzle game from the mid-90s, is receiving an updated version in virtual reality. Developer Vertigo Games is using volumetric video capture to recreate the full-motion video storytelling of the original game, bringing it to life in a whole new way. Players will explore the haunted mansion in full 3D, immersing themselves in a haunting and atmospheric experience. The 7th Guest VR will arrive later this year for Quest.

Bulletstorm, the ultraviolent first-person shooter from 2011, is also getting a VR makeover. Developer Incuvo, in collaboration with People Can Fly, the original game’s developer, is recreating the game’s over-the-top action and skill-based gameplay for VR. Players will engage in creative and gruesome “Skillshots” to dispatch enemies in the most extravagant ways possible. Bulletstorm VR launches later this year on Quest Pro/3/2.

Fans of the manga and anime series Attack on Titan will be excited about Attack on Titan VR: Unbreakable. In this game, players join the Scout Regiment for solo and co-op play, utilizing their Omni-directional Mobility (ODM) Gear to battle killer titans. The game offers intense combat and challenges, with increasing difficulty as players progress. Attack on Titan VR: Unbreakable is scheduled for release this winter on Quest.

PowerWash Simulator, a popular cleaning simulator, is also making its way to VR. Players can expect a 1:1 accurate cleaning experience using the Quest Touch controllers, allowing them to tackle dirt and grime in hard-to-reach spots. The game offers a relaxing atmosphere and stress-free gameplay, both in solo play and online multiplayer. PowerWash Simulator VR will launch later this year on Quest headsets.

Schell Games’ I Expect You to Die series, known for its clever puzzles and James Bond-inspired atmosphere, is returning with I Expect You to Die 3: Cog in the Machine. Players will once again take on the role of a secret agent and face off against the evil Dr. Zor in an expanded narrative with new levels and more hours of gameplay. The third installment of the series will launch this summer for Quest, and pre-orders will receive a 10 percent discount.

Meta has also announced several other upcoming games and updates for existing titles.
