GM Awaits FIA Decision on Andretti-Cadillac F1 Bid

General Motors (GM) has stated that it is anticipating a response from the FIA regarding their joint bid with Andretti to enter Formula 1 within the next 10 days.

Andretti Global, in collaboration with General Motors through Cadillac, aims to join Formula 1 as a new team starting from the 2025 season. In January, Andretti broke ground on a new factory in Fishers, Indiana, which will house their existing and future motorsport operations, including the Formula 1 team.

Dr. Eric Warren, Executive Director of Motorsports at GM, revealed that work is underway to build a car in time for the 2025 season. However, approval from the FIA and Formula 1 is still required for their entry into the grid.
