Although the game will no longer be available for purchase after December 31, 2023, it will remain playable until the end of 2024, after which the servers will be taken offline. To bid farewell to the game on a positive note, Gun Media has announced a substantial update for July 6. This update will raise every player’s level to 150 and grant them 30 Legendary Perks, free from any negative effects and programmed to always provide the best possible outcome. Additionally, players will unlock all of Jason’s kills, except those obtained through DLC.
Gun Media conveyed this update through a tweet, explaining that the perks are aimed at reducing reliance on database servers. Game director Wes Keltner stated that providing players with these benefits was the team’s way of ensuring the best experience and expressing a heartfelt thank you as they approach the game’s inevitable farewell.
